About Us
My name is Ashley, and I live with my husband and 3 daughters in Okinawa,
Japan, while He serves in the USAF. I began sewing in the fifth grade after
my grandmother passed away from cancer. I then taught myself how to sew
on her Turquoise,1960's Singer. I have been in love with sewing ever since. Since then I have made custom bedding from Nurseries to King size beds. I have taught myself how to quilt through books and trial and error. I find myself learning more about this art everyday as I challenge myself to try harder tasks.
Handbags and totes are what I love to create. Since having my first daughter I have enjoyed making things for infants and kids from nursery decor to
accessories. I started my business right before my first daughter was born. I
was looking for a way to earn money and still stay home and take care of her.
After giving several of my quilts and handbags away people started telling
me I should sell them so viola!
I have made over a 200 totes and bags from Japan to the U.S. and across
Europe. PCS'ing? Not a problem! I take online orders and can ship it almost
anywhere. All my creations are made with top notch materials and on a
Viking Sewing/Embroidery Machine and overlocked for durability. I carry a
large assortment of Fabrics, much more than what is listed. If you have
something in mind and can't find it; let me know and I can special order it. All
of my Bags & Totes are my own patterns under Elizabella Designs. Since
starting it over 3 years ago I have done extremely well. Thanks to all my
customers and supporters.
